Michael Mosner
President
Michael graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Agricultural Economics in 1978. Before joining the company in 1984, Michael helped develop and implement innovative methods in raising veal calves on milk replacer and grain diets in upstate New York. With over 30 years in the industry, Michael is a well-known and respected figure in American agriculture. Among his many national positions, Michael has served as Chairman of the Joint Veal Committee of the National Cattleman's Beef Association, Veal Council Chairman, and a board member of the American Veal Association. Livestock buying, sales and giving the company a national presence are just a few of Michael's chief responsibilities at Mosner Veal & Lamb.
Philip Mosner
Chief Executive Officer
Philip, a graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agricultural Economics, has worked at the company since 1981. Having been involved in every aspect of the business, Philip has a tremendous depth of expertise in production techniques and innovative cutting methods. Philip is currently the head of lamb livestock buying, fabrication and sales; and also oversees financial and administrative functions.
Benjamin Mosner
Vice President of Sales
The third generation of Mosners to enter the family business began in 2001 when Benjamin joined his father and uncle on the management team. Benjamin currently serves as the Vice President of Sales and heads Mosner's imported products division. In addition to his expertise in marketing Group Raised Veal, Strauss Free Raised Veal, and American Lamb, Benjamin has developed strategic partnerships with the finest meat producers from around the world. These partnerships have made Mosner imported programs hugely successful and have expanded the company's customer base. Benjamin will continue to build and fortify strategic relationships with suppliers to bring more customers in contact with high quality Mosner products.
Jessica Mosner
Director of Sales and Marketing
Jessica, a University of Delaware graduate, recently joined the family at Mosner Veal & Lamb. Jessica assumed a vital role in the company in 2009, supporting sales, customer service and marketing efforts. With a strong retail background, Jessica specializes in merchandising and promotions, working closely with both retail and food service accounts to maximize the potential of the veal and lamb categories. Jessica is also largely responsible for Mosner Veal & Lamb's completely revamped image bringing the company's appearance in line with its new direction.
